We collect information when you register for our waitlist or when a retail location logs your order in the Shelvdon Service Tracker. This information includes:

  • Store Name / Account Profiles (for retail merchants).
  • Customer Name and Phone Number (for receiving service alerts).
  • Email Address (for system administration and waitlist news).

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used strictly to provide the core services of Shelvdon:

  • To track the physical progress of your items in the store backroom.
  • To dispatch automated text (SMS) notifications when your items enter the "Ready" state.
  • To verify your identity upon collection using a secure 4-digit PIN sent via SMS.

3. SMS Consent and Number Security (Carrier Compliance)

We hold your communication privacy to the highest standard:

  • No Sharing: Mobile information, phone numbers collected, and text messaging consent/originator data will never be shared, sold, or rented to third parties, affiliates, or partners for marketing or promotional purposes.
  • Opt-In Verification: SMS opt-in is collected explicitly. Store employees must obtain verbal or written consent at the front counter before inputting your number into the system.
  • Opt-Out Policy: You can cancel SMS service at any time. Simply reply STOP to any text notification. After we send the confirmation SMS, you will no longer receive alerts.

4. Data Retention

Once a service ticket is marked "Fulfilled" (items collected and ticket closed), the customer's phone number is permanently redacted or archived, ensuring we do not retain active tracking records on our databases longer than operational logic requires.
